Ihsan Coaching (“Ihsan Coaching,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering online coaching and religious consultation services. Information you give us directly, such as when you fill out our contact form, book a consultation, register for a program or seminar, or communicate with a coach:

  • Details you share in a message, intake form, or during a coaching or consultation session
  • Payment and billing information (processed by our third-party payment processor)
  • Information you voluntarily share in the course of coaching, which may include sensitive personal, marital, family, or religious matters
  • For financial assistance eligibility, we review your financial records but do not retain them. Once eligibility is determined, we permanently delete all financial documentation from our systems.

Information collected automatically when you browse the Site:

  • Pages visited, time on site, and referring website
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

We do not knowingly collect more sensitive personal information than is necessary to provide our services, and we ask that you only share what feels appropriate and safe for you.

Consent

When you provide personal information to complete a transaction, verify a payment method, book an appointment, or arrange payment, your consent to our collecting and using that information for that specific purpose is implied. For any secondary use beyond the original purpose, we will either request your explicit consent or give you the option to decline.

Email marketing: 
By providing your email address through our forms, communications, bookings, or documents, you consent to that address being added to our email list for future marketing. You may opt out at any time.

Withdrawing consent:
You may withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your information at any time by emailing us.

Confidentiality of Coaching Sessions

What you share with a coach during a session is treated as confidential and is not shared outside of Ihsan Coaching except as described in this policy or as required by law. Coaching is not the same as licensed psychotherapy, and confidentiality protections may differ from those in a clinical/therapeutic relationship — please see our Terms & Conditions for the specific limits of confidentiality, including situations involving risk of harm to yourself or others.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate — for example, our scheduling platform, payment processor, email/newsletter provider, and website hosting provider. These providers only access the information needed to perform their function and are contractually required to protect it.
  • Your assigned coach or consultant, to the extent necessary to provide your sessions.
  • Legal or safety authorities, if required by law, court order, or if we believe in good faith it’s necessary to prevent harm to you or someone else.
  • Successor organizations, in the unlikely event of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of Ihsan Coaching’s operations — your information would remain subject to a policy at least as protective as this one.

We use third-party applications to enhance your experience and limit our own direct access to your data:

  • Stripe: Processes payments securely under PCI-DSS standards. We receive limited payment information (name on card, card type, last four digits, billing address, zip code). Stripe Privacy Policy

  • Google Pixel: We use Google Pixel tracking technology to measure and optimize our advertising campaigns. This technology places cookies on your device to track how you interact with our content and advertisements. Google Pixel may collect information such as your IP address, device type, operating system, browsing behavior, and page views. This information helps us understand the effectiveness of our advertisements, improve our marketing strategy, and deliver more relevant content to you.   • MailChimp: Manages our email marketing with access to registered users’ contact information. We can see each registered mailing list member’s first and last name, email address, home address, and phone number. MailChimp Terms

Some of these providers may be located in a different jurisdiction than you. For example, if you’re located outside the United States and your transaction is processed by a US-based payment gateway, your information may become subject to disclosure under US law, including the USA PATRIOT Act.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning properly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site (through analytics tools). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some Site functionality.

Social media integration:
Our Site includes social features (like “share” buttons) that may collect your IP address and set their own cookies. Anything you share on our social platforms is governed by that platform’s own policy.

Do Not Track:
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. You can typically opt out of tracking directly through our third-party analytics providers’ own settings.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain business and coaching records, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.

  • Contact information (name, email, address, phone): Retained while you remain an active client or subscriber
  • Appointment history: Retained for service continuity
  • Payment information: Retained only as long as necessary to complete transactions and address any disputes
  • Communication records: Retained for communication purposes
  • Financial assistance documentation: Deleted immediately after eligibility determination

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you. Any automated processes we use, such as analytics, are for measurement purposes only.

Your Rights & Choices

Wherever you’re located, you generally have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, object to or restrict certain processing, request a portable copy of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. European Economic Area (GDPR):
Ihsan Coaching is the data controller of your information. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, request data portability, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California residents (CCPA):
You have the right to know what personal information is collected/used/shared/sold, delete personal information we hold, opt out of the sale of personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours of discovering the breach, explain what data was affected and what steps we’re taking, provide guidance on protecting yourself, and comply with all applicable legal requirements for breach notification.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. Coaching services for individuals under 18 require parental or guardian consent and completion of our Under 18 Waiver. By using this Site, you confirm you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction; if your minor dependent uses this Site, you confirm you have given consent and are of legal age to do so.
